Greetings to all the new and seasoned Sequoyah families! What a wonderful first week of school! We are so excited to be on this journey with you.

For our new families, the Sequoyah Elementary PTA is network of parents, teachers, staff and local community devoted to the educational success of our children. We have many exciting events planned for the year including long standing traditions and sprinkling of new ones. The success of these events would not be possible without the support and time by our wonderful volunteers and PTA members.

We encourage teacher, parents and staff to become a member of the PTA today to help support our mission which includes advocating for well being of our students and families and creating a positive, engaging school community.

Lets make this year the best one yet! Please share your ideas and bring your questions when you see us. Welcome to the 2024 - 2025 school year!

Did you know that your PTA membership should be renewed yearly? This year, for signing up, PTA members will receive a Sequoyah Stallions water bottle. Your membership gives you a voice in how the PTA supports and advocates for your students. It also helps support the PTA in offering school-wide programs such as Movie Nights, Book Fair, International Night, and lots more!

Our first Restaurant Night kicks off at Asian Bistro and Bubble & Berry! Don't worry about planning dinner, meet up with friends and grab your dinner at Asian Bistro and walk next door to Bubble & Berry for a refreshing drink or dessert.

We continue our wonderful tradition of watching movies under the stars. Join us Friday, September 20th for our first Family Movie Night of the school year.  Bring a blanket, chair and snacks and connect with new members of our Stallion community. An ice cream truck will nearby and concession will be available for sale. Freshly popped popcorn and bottled water will be provided for free. The featured movie will be voted by our Sequoyah Stallions in the coming weeks. Stay tune!

After school clubs will be back this fall! Clubs will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning October and will run for 8 weeks. We will be partnering with Little Scholars for registration and to facilitate attendance and club meetings. Stay tuned for registration info!
