Happy New Year, Stallions!

We are thrilled to welcome everyone back as we kick off the new year following winter break! We hope you had a restful holiday season!

Thank you to everyone who donated to make the cookie swap a success in December. Our teachers love the sweet treats and everyone had plenty of yummy treats to take home. 

We have so many exciting events planned for the rest of the school year, so stay tuned!

No General Membership Meeting in January

We'll return in February with a full agenda! The next General Membership Meeting is Tuesday, February 3rd at 7pm. 

Restuarant Night at Ledo Pizza on January 22!

Take the night off from cooking and grab some Ledo's for Restaurant Night. Dine in or carryout available.

Mention Sequoyah Elementary School when ordering - dine in or pick up! 

Restaurant Night is 5pm-9pm at the Derwood Ledo Pizza - 7213 Muncaster Mill Rd.

Winter Family Dance

The Sequoyah PTA is excited to announce the 2026 Winter Family Dance!

Put on your dancing shoes and enjoy some music with your friends and family!

Refreshments and concessions will be available for purchase. 

This event is FREE, but a parent is REQUIRED to attend with their student. 

When: Friday January 30, 2026

Time: 6 - 8 PM

Where: Sequoyah Gym

Save the Date for International Night February 19, 2026

Sequoyah Elementary School's International Night returns in February 19th from 6:30-8:30pm to celebrate the diversity in our school community. If you have not previously attended International Night, you'll be in for a special treat. Families host a table representing a country or region and showcase unique artifacts from that country--that may include photos, traditional clothing, food--the possibilities are endless! This is one of the most attended events of the year so don't miss out! If you would like to sign-up to display a table or share a performance, please sign up at the Sign-up Genius link: Sequoyah Elementary PTA: SES International Night 

This event is successful because of the tremendous contribution from all the families who participate and those families that attend.

Yearbook Pictures Needed!

We've had a fun & busy Fall at Sequoyah - let's remember it in the yearbook! Send your pictures from events to sequoyah.pta.contact@gmail.com with the event name in the subject for school wide events (ie Trunk or Treat), or the grade level in the subject for class parties (ie 2nd Grade).
