Happy Spring!

Spring has arrived! The Sequoyah PTA has been busy planning end of year events to close out with a bang! 

PTA-sponsored events such as the Aladdin Musical, Teacher Appreciation Week, Glow Run and much more is coming this month and next! Continue reading for more details.

ALADDIN KIDS AT Sequoyah!

Disney’s Aladdin KIDS is playing at Sequoyah on April 29th and April 30th at 7pm. The spectacular 45-minute musical, designed for elementary school-aged performers, is based on the 1992 Disney film. The 4th and 5th grade cast includes 53 students led by Emmanuel Kyie-Baffour, Dan Silva and Erin Doyle. This performance can't be missed!

Admission is $10 for adults at the door. Free admission for all kids! Kids must have an adult present with them. 

Seeking PTA Officers and Volunteers for the 2026-2027 School Year

We need you! It is time for the PTA Nominating Committee to recruit candidates to hold PTA Officer positions for the upcoming school year.

If you are interested in fulfilling one or more of the positions, please complete this Google Form. You may also nominate someone you think would be an ideal recruit for a particular office.  

No experience necessary—just a willingness to help.

Please complete the form no later than April 27, 2026.  PTA elections will take place May 5, 2026.

Teacher Appreciation Week May 4th - 8th

Boosters Glow Run - May 15th!

The Glow Run is our biggest fundraising event of the year. We plan to kick things off at the end of April! We will have fun contests to meet our fundraising goal in addition to the final Glow Run taking place May 15th!!

There will be opportunities for parents to participate. Stay tuned on how to sign-up.
